ARSENE WENGER has complained that Arsenal's critics are 'over excessive'
Wenger's men issued a stunning riposte after their shock 3-2 defeat to Olympiacos in the Champions League in midweek by beating Manchester United 3-0 yesterday. The Frenchman came under fire for his decision to leave out Petr Cech for the European loss.
But Wenger hit back at his critics in emphatic fashion.
"It’s [criticism] always excessive, we’ve played some great games, we’ve won four away games.
"I have managed many teams and never one has played at the same level from the first game to the last.
"We won’t have that problem against Bayern, of course.
"Let’s not forget we beat Leicester 5-2 last week, we missed our opportunity in midweek, but we are on a good run in the Premier League.

"We were good against Manchester United because we decided to start strong, to press high, to win balls and get quickly into transition and when we do that well we know we can score goals. After that we were disciplined and focused to defend well together."
