Jonathan’ll recapture insurgent controlled towns if... —Boni Haruna

Minister of Youth Development and former Governor of Adamawa State, Mr Boni Haruna, has assured the people of the state that President Goodluck Jonathan, will ensure that  the remaining towns under the siege of insurgents are recaptured if re-elected.
He said recapturing the towns will enable him commence the re-construction of all destroyed properties and businesses by the insurgents.
The minister, in a statement,  on Tuesday, commended the Presidential Victims Support Fund (PVSF), even as he called on the committee to promptly commence identification and assessing of all properties and businesses destroyed in recovered areas with a  view to assisting victims  to return.
Boni also implored the PVSF committee to put in place the  mechanism to ensure that victims  are not  short-changed in the disbursement of any assistance meant for them by the fund as witnessed during the 2012 flood disaster in the state where flood  victims were allegedly sidelined.
Boni, who condemned  claims that insurgency is being promoted by the Federal Government, noted that this insinuation had been proved wrong by the Nigerian military.
He lauded efforts of the Nigerian military on liberation of  Michika town, which was taken over by the insurgents  on  September 8, 2014.
