Sat in the stand immediately behind the Chelsea dug-out, Diego Costa, serving a three game suspension, was serenaded numerous times by the Chelsea faithful.
Our leading scorer still has two games to serve of his current three game ban and will miss the Premier League games away to Aston Villa and at home to Everton.
However, having been the victim of a trumped-up Football Association charge, Diego is insistent that he will not change his game and has spoken about how he plays to the media, remarking,
"I`m not saying I`m an angel. You can see that. But every time I play, I will play the same way because that`s the way I am.
"On the pitch I will always be like that. That`s my character and I will always compete. I`m a different guy off the pitch - but on it I will not change.
"I`m not going to change the way I am because I got banned.
"I`m always loyal, I always go 100 per cent, I always go on the limit.
"But the people who think I am a violent player, they interpret football a different way.
"I have never injured another player on purpose. Yes I`ve had loads of incidents. Maybe even more in Spain but that`s the way I play."
Exactly, so don`t change a thing Diego.
As for the FA charge, apparently the FA win over 99% of all cases where he player appeals, kangaroo court or what!
